CERAMIC PACKAGING

A Distinctive Packaging Identity, Shaped by a Natural Material

With its natural texture and distinctive surface, ceramic brings a unique character to contemporary packaging design.

From beer, wine and spirits to olive oil, mustard and pâté, as well as cosmetics and other specialist applications, ceramic packaging offers broad versatility. Its opaque structure protects the contents from light, helping preserve their taste and sensory qualities for longer.

Traditional Material, Industrial Precision

Unlike traditional ceramic production, industrial manufacturing allows packaging to be produced consistently within defined dimensions and tolerances. This precision is particularly important for ensuring compatibility between the bottle finish and the closure system.

Standardised dimensions allow different closure systems - including cork stoppers, screw caps, swing-top closures and crown caps - to be applied reliably. This brings the natural character of ceramic together with the technical compatibility required by modern filling and closing processes.

A Surface Made for Design

One of ceramic’s most distinctive qualities is its surface. A range of glaze and colour options, from matt to glossy and from light to dark tones, allows the packaging to be shaped around the brand’s design language.

Direct printing can be applied to the ceramic surface, while labelling options are also available. By combining colour, finish and decoration, a distinctive visual language can be created for each project.
